1959 Chevrolet Corvette CONVERTIBLE Description

1959 CHEVROLET CORVETTE CUSTOM CONVERTIBLE: --Flint Grey metallic with Alabaster White coves, Red leather interior, Black soft top, Red carpeting, Nut and bolt restoration with Jamison tube chassis, 7.0 Liter LS7 V8 with 600bhp, T56 6-speed manual transmission, Vintage Air, Exceptional throughout with limited mileage since build completion. Starting with an all-original ’59 roadster, this Corvette was completely restored and remastered into an exceptional “restomod” with modern components. The fit and finish is superb throughout and all systems operate as they should. Driving this Roadster has the fun and feel of driving a modern sports car while still presenting as a classic Vette. Essentially, the best of both worlds. a GM 7.0 Liter LS7 V8 from a Z06 Corvette. With 505bhp in stock form, a Katech Torquer camshaft, high-lift valve springs, titanium retainers and reworked LS7 heads, it now produces 600bhp and 570 lb. ft. of torque mated to a T56 6-speed manual gearbox (built by RPM Transmissions). The Vette also has a Dana 36 differential with 3.73 gears, Dewitt aluminum radiator, painted composite intake manifold, custom Jamison tube chassis, C4 suspension with Heim joints and adjustable QA-1 coil overs, power rack and pinion steering, Wilwood power disc brakes, 18 inch HRE wheels, Rosewood steering wheel, Vintage Air system, Power windows and a Modern Alpine audio system. This Corvette has been in true collector ownership since its restoration. It was featured in the April 2012 edition of Corvette magazine. It is ready for immediate driving and touring pleasure. What was once an older classic American sports car, it is now an easy to use modern resto-mod that is a easy and a joy to drive. It is not only powerful, but extremely docile when used around town.
