1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 BelAir Description

1957 Chevrolet BelAir - 2 Door Post / Sedan - $33,000

We have a large private collection of iconic American race cars, sports cars, resto-rods, muscle cars, collector cars, and antiques. You can see my Ford GTs on ebay. This was my father’s car, he passed just before Christmas. I am listing / selling this car for my mother (she lives right up the street and does not ebay). We already have two high-horse power 1957 Chevrolet Restomods in our collection or we would consider this one too. He also has a sub-9 second 1957 Chevrolet Race Car. He bought this car as a cruiser (in advertisement). It comes with a new 4B polished intake that is new in the box. The car was purchased about 8-9 years ago at the Liberty Street Rods show in Carroll County, Maryland because of how straight the body is to be used as a cruiser. I was with him when he bought it.

This car is Jet black exterior with Jet black interior. It has a 350 Chevy small block with a 2B setup and a power glide transmission. Included with the car is a brand new 4B intake (we also have a 500hp, a 600hp, and a 1200hp 1957 Chevrolets so we never modified it). He was going to install before his health started to decline. Since buying it, he converted / changed the wheels (no miles on them) to look more period correct. We just (December 2019) replaced the entire fuel system (tank, sending unit, lines, filter, and soft lines). We just replaced the ignition switch (January 2020 - complete assembly) to make everything work right and installed a brand new battery. I primed her, she starts, runs, and idles like a clock with all of this in place. I have the air cleaner, I just took it off to take more detailed pictures.

I took pictures in direct sunlight so everything is clear. Paint looks great, chrome looks good, stainless looks great, and everything looks good (basing this on all the super high-end cars that I have). There is a crack in the driver’s rear window. I was told he had the glass, but I have yet to find it. All documentation we have on the car will go with it. Approximately 3000 miles on what is now an older restoration.

It is a perfect car for Saturday night that you can continue to improve over time. Improvements can be made over time at little cost. The sale of the car will be to recover the investment for my mother. This is not a fire sale, just time to go to the next owner. We hope to see the car go to a good home, to be enjoyed and properly maintained. Priced well below market, it is a wonderful deal on an awesome car – perfect car to Resto-mod with a Corvette setup or a big block.
