1969 Chevrolet Nova Yenko Clone Description
Frame off restored, the bottom of the car is painted like the top. Exciting car- done up as a Yenko, has healthy sounding exhaust and a 5-speed to wind up that 350 with.
EXTERIOR: Has a very clean, straight body. I felt all along the bottoms there's and no bubbles. The butternut yellow is polished to a smooth, glassy finish. It even feels slick to the touch. In back it has new bumper, taillights and Hurst emblem. Trim around the windows is exceptionally shiny and straight. Has new bowtie mirrors, emblems, polished wiper arms. In front the grill, bumper and trim is new. The Yenko package includes cowl hood, striping and wheels. These are new reproduction Torque Thrust wheels. Jambs are painted nice, weatherstrips are replaced.
INTERIOR: Restored from carpet to headliner. It was gutted and lined with sound deadening insulation. The door panels have been recently replaced. The upholstery is new and the cushions feel good. The dash pad is new, the metal is repainted gloss black. It has heater and radio delete plates. New glovebox liner. New headliner, visors and sail panels. They fit tight, no wrinkles. Ididit tilt column with custom ignition. Down below the dash are Autometer gauges including Sport Comp tachometer. Theres a Hurst Indy shifter down on the floor.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Its been apart, rebuilt and detailed. Performance 350 motor has double hump angle plug heads, Holley aluminum intake and dual feed carb, coated headers and HEI ignition system. Dressed up with a really nice set of aluminum Chevrolet valve covers and a dual snorkel air cleaner. Fuel pump and alternator look new. Has power steering and upgraded power brake system. The firewall and under the hood is painted to match the car and inner fenders are gloss black.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Solid metal with a gray and white spatter finish paint. New weatherstrip, bottom of the trunk lid and jamb are painted nicely.
UNDERSIDE: Body was off the frame and the entire bottom is restored like the top. Clean metal floors and frame rails painted the body color. Chassis components are satin black. Upfront the subframe was out, has new body bushings. All new ball joints, bushings etc. We replaced the springs after the pictures were taken. Bottom of the motor is clean, has a high torque mini starter. Upgraded 5 speed trans. I drove it, the first 4 gears are fun. Click it into 5th gear and the RPMs drop for highway cruising. Has a dual exhaust system with crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. New fuel tank and fuel lines. Brakes are all completely redone and upgraded to discs at all four corners. Replaced brake lines.
You won't find too many muscle cars that were rotisserie restored with the features this one has in this price range. Someone can buy this and hits the streets and the shows right away.
