1982 Chevrolet Scottsdale 10 4X4 Pickup. I'm selling my fathers hunting truck for him. Unfortunately he is not able to use it anymore due to his health condition so its time for somebody else to put it to good use. I have driven it around town and would not hesitate to drive it out of town. He's own it for 15 years and been very dependable. I will also say it is used so don't expect it to drive like a new one. I will list everything I know about it and what my father has told me about the truck. The steering gear box has normal play like any old truck. Windshield is cracked. The AC works good but the low pressure switch engages due to low Freon. My father said he puts in 1 can every 2 years. Has a 3 core radiator and electric fan to run the 9500 lbs winch on the front because of the Florida heat. Has helper coils on the front and rear suspension. Has a locker in the rear end but not sure what kind. This truck operates like a tractor off road. Motor runs great, fires up immediately, has an exhaust manifold leak on the right side. I did not dig into it but I can hear it at idle. Could be the manifold or might just be the gasket. It does have rust as you can see in the pictures but its very minimal. I'm used to dealing with rust from the north so this is minimal and very simple to repair. It has dual fuel tanks but he only uses one tank. He said the other tank works but will leak from the top if you try to use it. Again simple fix if you drop that tank. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
