1966 Chevrolet Nova Pro Touring Description
High quality build with reliable performance in mind. This car will handle a road coarse, snap your neck at a green light and cruise the boulevards in the comfort of air conditioning. EXTERIOR: Professionally restored to show quality. Great stance on a handsome car. The body is exceptionally clean, straight and fits right. The doors shut like a new car. Smooth even along the bottoms, no bubbles. The front fenders are brand new GM. The Ermine white paint is polished to a glass finish. All new chrome. Upfront has a new billet custom grill, new bumper, headlight bezels and hood trim. Down the sides it has new emblems, bowtie mirrors, door handles, stainless trim around the windows and gutters. In back it has new bumper and tail light assemblys. It also has all new, lightly smoked glass all the way around. All new gaskets, window seals and weatherstrips. The door jambs are restored very nicely. New 16x8 polished Torque Thrust wheels on BFG tires.
INTERIOR: Completely restored from carpet to headliner with some very nice upgrades. I'm sitting in these sport seats and they really do serve a purpose, they hold you in place! If you decide to push it through some curves you won't slide out of the seat. Very comfortable, the recline too. The next thing I noticed is the instrument panel has a full array of blue lit gauges. A big tachometer is uniquely recessed into the dash. The a/c vents are cleanly installed below the dash. Has 12 volt receptacles to charge tour phone. Has a custom tilt column with a deluxe steering wheel. The upholstery, door panels, armrests, cranks, handles, dash pad, headliner and visors have all been replaced. New seat belts front and back.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: They started with a new Dart 427 block that was built to a 434 with 577 lbs of torque and 558 hp. Has roller Comp cam, aluminum heads and intake, Trick Flow carb, Hooker Super Comp headers, digital E curve billet distributor and MSD box. Aluminum water pump, radiator and overflow bottle keep it cool along with the help from a new shroud and electric fan. Vintage Air Gen lV heat and a/c system was neatly installed. Has serpentine belt and pulley system. New power steering. Has new smooth inner fenders and support bars from the firewall going down to the subframe. The compartment is show quality. All the components, wiring, hoses are neatly installed. Most parts are finished in satin black. Very clean look. It does have chrome valve covers and dual snorkel air cleaner.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Very dry, clean metal. No signs of patches or rust. Wiring, trunk mat, taillight housings, weatherstrip looks new. The battery has been relocated to the trunk. Has a battery box and a kill switch. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted nicely.
UNDERSIDE: There is a lot to brag about under this car. $8,873 in Heidts driveline parts not including installation. Has Superide ll subframe, control arms and swaybar. Has 2 inch drop spindles and coil over gas shocks. In back it has weld in 4 link system with panhard bar and coil over gas shocks. 4 link subframe connectors tie the front to the back. Has new rack & pinion steering system. Wilwood brake system with 12 inch big brake kit, 4 piston calipers, custom e-brake assembly, braided hoses. Has custom extra capacity oil pan, Hitachi mini starter. Brand new Tremec TKO 5-speed trans. New bell housing, forged steel flywheel and new hydraulic clutch. Completely new Ford 9 inch rear end with 55 inch axles, 31 spline, 3.70 posi. New gas tank, straps and sending unit. Premium fuel lines, fittings and electric pump. Fat exhaust with crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. All the metal is clean, painted satin black. All the work looks professional, neatly installed and premium parts.
This is the real deal folks, not just a bunch of go fast parts some guy ordered and bolted on. New, not rebuilt, motor, trans, rear, suspension and brakes. This is a meticulously built car with premium upgrades. There will be no regrets buying this one, only regret would be if you don't!
