1971 Chevrolet Other Pickups Rare Longhorn Edition-PS, PB, A/C, Houndstooth Description
Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 20th year in the classic and muscle car business. As the prices and popularity of 1967-1972 Chevrolet trucks continue to escalate, more examples of these classic workhorses are finding their way to market. As a result, some lesser-known but very capable trucks are finally getting some well-deserved attention. This extremely clean 1971 Chevy C20 Longhorn is a great example. Chevrolet built their Longhorn (6" frame and bed extension) model from 1968-1972, in large part to carry the longest pickup camper that was on the market at the time. Though beloved by followers, these trucks were produced in small numbers (only 3331 in 1971) and remain unknown to most. Our sweet '71 looks great in its correct Medium Olive (504) paint and is loaded with factory features and options including a 350ci V8 (LS9), Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission (M49), power steering (N40), power front disc brakes, air conditioning (dealer installed), auxiliary springs (G60), front chrome bumper (V46), wood bed, and the tool and stowage box (VK2). Tasteful upgrades include a newer AM/FM radio, green houndstooth upholstery (in place of black vinyl), and a one piece rear window. This is a smooth-riding (133" WB), great running truck that's unusual enough to get quite a bit of attention. Perhaps the cleanest 1971 Longhorn in existence.
