1969 Camaro RS Fuel Injected
1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS Description
Bright orange. Just a real nice example of a 69. Title in MY name in hand. One of my close friends bought this car several years ago and sold it to his step dad. I bought it from his step dad last year. I have known of this car for about 7 or 8 years. It has not been driven very much at all since I have known of the car. Mileage shows 56788, but of course I have no way of knowing if that is legit, or if it has rolled over. I do have a little paper work on the car that provides a little info. It was completely refinished in the 90's. The paint is in excellent shape. Then body is great. Fuel injected 350 from a 90's model Chevrolet. It runs awesome. Car drives great. Body lines are precision straight. The car was originally set up to do the Hot Rod Power Tour. Disc brakes all around. About three months ago I spent over $2000 just having the car gone over mechanically and installing new electric motors on the headlights. I just put on new Foose wheels and BFG tires. Less than 100 miles on them. Only blemishes I know of on the car are the paint I show in the door jamb in one of the pics. It is just barely bubbled. Maybe the size of a quarter. The trunk had the original trunk mat in it, and it left a little bit of some surface rust on the inside. I coated the trunk with POR just to be on the safe side. There is no rust anywhere that I can find on the car. It is the nicest example I have found for a car in this price range anywhere. 4 Speed car. Has original rear window defroster. Has A/C. Has a switch under the dash to turn on the a/c compressor. Does not blow very hard, but it does have it. My mechanic said it will need a blower motor to blow harder, but I always ride with the windows down anyway, so I did not fix it. Come and look at it, and check it out, or have a mechanic check it out. The clutch pedal rattles a little bit while driving, and I just put my foot under it to make it a little quieter. I had the transmission serviced because second gear felt a little stiff to me. My mechanic found no problem. The tires are a little close, because of the size, but it could probably be raised about an inch in the back and be perfect. I have only had the front rub one time while backing up and turning very sharp. I am telling you all of this because I am not trying to hide anything. You can look at my feedback. I try to disclose EVERYTHING I can possibly think of. I am not interested in any trades. I am trying to purchase a new piece of equipment and trying to free up some funds. Send me a message, and I will send you my number. I can text you any picture you want of the car. The car needs no apologies. It is extremely nice for a 51 year old car. I will gladly listen to REASONABLE offers. If you get no response on your offer, then it was not reasonable.
