1969 Chevrolet Corvette / 427 / 1 Owner / Survivor
Just off consignment from a national classic auto dealership. Was listed in the high $40K.
My Dad ordered this 1969 Corvette 427 from Galles-Groesbeeck Chevrolet in Albuquerque, NM. It is accident-free and very original condition.
Mileage - 72,389 miles is not actual. Odometer broke in the late 1970’s based on service records. Corvette was not driven in the winters and was stored more as time progressed.
Motor / Transmission - Original matching numbers 427 Big Block and 4-speed transmission. The engine was professionally rebuilt and reportedly bored out 30 thousandths in the 1980. The carburetor is a rebuilt Quadrajet and the left engine manifold is a replacement. Runs and shifts well, but could use some carburation fine-tuning.
Rear End - Heavy Duty 3.08 rebuilt by Baer.
Options - Factory A/C - Not currently functioning.
Power windows.
Power Steering.
Am/Fm Radio (not working)
Tinted Glass
Head Restraints
Brakes - Upgraded stainless steel calipers, rotors, seals and pads, and wheel bearings.
Wheels - Original hub caps and trim rings. Replacement rims circa 1969. Newer Firestone radials with less than 2,000 miles.
Interior - New carpet and seat covers.
Finish - The original Can-Am white paint shows plentiful cracking, but in overall good condition for 50+ years old.
Documents: Original Protect- O- Plate and dealer order form. Many service records.
