1973 Chevrolet Other Hatchback Description

JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW ) 1973 Chevrolet Vega. LOW ORIGINAL MILES (39,279) 4 cylinder engine, automatic transmission, front disc brakes, rear window defroster, stripe package, front and rear bumper guards, AM radio. I believe that I'm the 2nd or 3rd owner. always garaged, I'm not an expert but I believe that the paint and everything is original, I can't find any evidence of any bodywork of any kind. There's no rust on the body anywhere. If it was ever painted it had to be years ago because I've owned it almost 20 years now and the stripes show some age. I have owned it since 2002, it hasn't been licenced since 2001 and was driven by an old lady back and forth to the store before I bought it. This thing is a TIME CAPSULE!!!! I was told that it had a blown headgasket when I bought it but I had planned on putting a V8 in it so I didn't care and never checked the original engine. I have no idea if the engine is good or not? If you plan on running the original engine then I would plan on a rebuild of it or at least a freshen up of the engine. The damage to the left front fender was caused by a tow truck backing into it while it was parked. The NOS OEM original fender in the picture comes with the purchase of the car. I've been told that the original fender can be repaired but I wanted a new original one. I have a $1000.00 just in the replacement fender. The interior is in really good condition but has a few minor issues, the drivers seat bottom has a split or two in it, but for almost 50 years old its in great shape, even the dash isn't cracked!!! I love the car but I just have too many projects to get done and I'm just not gonna get to it. It will be a great project for someone. If you have ANY questions please call me. I could have sold the car outright already but I had a few bids so I didn't want to pull the car off of Ebay. The high bidder retracted his bid today due to some issue on his end. So again guys just be ready to actually commit to buying the car when you hit the bid button. It's not fair to the other people to retract your bid. It's a GREAT CAR and you won't be disappointed. NOTE: I had someone ask me again today about shipping and storing the car until it can be shipped because of the virus deal.
