You are bidding on the highly sought after 1959 Chevrolet Impala convertible. This here is an original survivor car, powered by the original 348 V8. The original TurboGlide was replaced with an aluminum PowerGlide automatic transmission. It has power disk brakes and factory power steering. Runs and shifts great.
This is a highly desirable Los Angeles built 348 car. It’s absolutely solid with no rust at all. It’s been on the west coast its whole life, yes, it has original rust free panels.
Nice paint, good stainless and chrome, above driver quality, but it shows a bit of age. All the glass is good and windows function properly.It has a brand new complete interior with the original patterns and style from Ciadella. The black vinyl top is great with no rips, tears or damage. The convertible top mechanism is nice, top works up and down and closes great.
It has a simple but effective AirRide system, one compressor, one tank, conveniently installed under the rear of the car to preserve the original look inside the trunk.New Billet wheels with 20s to the front and 22s to the rear. Also has brand new dual exhaust and stopping comes via the C6 Corvette front disk brakes.
