Spring/ Summer is coming and here is your dream car to enjoy those warm days and nights.
This is absolutely the cleanest, sexiest high endprotouring 1969 Camaro convertible out there! Thisthree year build started with a straight clean 1969 "plain Jane" factory V8 Camaro convertible 350/350 with a 10 bolt rear end. After being completely stripped to bare metal two floor pans where replaced, factory marker lights were filled, key holes were filledand hoodcowl piece was smoothed. The fire wall was smoothed and both inner fender wells and core support were body worked to perfection. Global westsubframe connectors were welded in, with a custom bend to tuck them up nice and tight. Then the factory subframe was placed in Global West's frame jig where it had all factory stitch welds removed and a constant continuous weld was laid down to stiffen and strengthen this subframe to track performance specs. After completion of all body work the underside was coated withLineX undercoating, and then came the House of Color black exterior paint. If you know House of Color then you know they have, in my opinion, the darkest deepest black on the market. After clear coat the complete body was blocked and buffed to perfection. Now when it comes to the engine and chassis the fit and finish of the Global West suspension, Viking dual adjustable shocks andthe 500hp LS3 with Tremec TKO600 are second to none! The LS3 is stockwith Aluma coated long tube headers and dual Magnaflow mufflers, power is put down through afactory GM 12-bolt built by Bill ThomasEnterprises. I'm not going to lie the numbers are impressive, tuning was doneby Westech here in SoCal,the engine dyno'd at 496hp and put down 422hp at the rear wheels on their chassis dyno. As far as comfort and features go, the interior does not disappoint! It's all there- lacking nothing, Vintage Air, Custom dash, custom made Classic Instrument gauges, bluetooth stereo system, power windows, power convertible top, tilt steering column, Budnik leather wrappedsteering wheel andMercedes cloth convertible top. The custom upholstery was completed by Miguel Rosales, Riverside Custom & Classic Auto Interior. Miguel started by creating a custom dash which resembles the stock 1969 dash but with cleaner lines and less clutter. He then modified the stock center console with air vents, custom skirting and extended itthrough to the back seats. Front and rear bucket seats, dash and consolewere then wrapped in red leatherwith red carpeting and floor mats to complete the monochromatic interior color scheme. Wheels and tiresat first were18"/19"Forged Union custom three piece wheels, which were later changed to custom wheels by Budnik, 18" in the front and 19" in rear with 245/40/18 & 275/35/19 Michelin pilot sport tires and Wilwood four wheel disc brakes handle the stopping power. Front and rear bumpers were cut and sectioned to create a nice tight fit to the body and custom mounts made to remove factory mounting bolts, as well asthe rear bumper ends were shortened so they don't wrap around the body as far as a stock bumper. Additional exterior upgrades are Eddie Motor sports billet hood hinges and tail lights, RS hidden headlight front grill and GM factory SS hood. Since completion in 2015 this car has only been driven 3455 miles, never seen rain, but hasbeen to a hand full of local car shows where it has trophied every time. Most notable trophies are a Best Interior in 2016, Peoples choice award in 2016and Best of Show in 2017 (the last show I attended). Car starts, drives and handles like a modern day car, a/c blows cold, cruises on the hwy at 70mph while getting 20+ mpg, and oh yah with 422 hp at the wheels....it moves!
