1960 Chevrolet Impala Bel Air Description

RESTORATION PROJECT. Up for bid is a one owner 1960 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door post. Still has its original 235 engine with manual 3 on the tree transmission. Odometer shows 07205 but most likely 107205 miles. Car runs and yard drives. See video. Currently running off of small auxiliary fuel supply under hood. Actually runs pretty good. Turn the key and it starts right up every time. Water pump leaks. Exhaust system was hanging low so it was removed about a foot after the manifold. Again this is a restoration project. Brakes are currently not working and the system will need to be gone through like all the other systems on the rest of the car. Original two tone paint with patina only mother nature could provide. Body has rust in all usual places including the floors. Replacement panels are readily available. Frame is solid for the most part but does need rust repair rear area. Make no mistake this car needs a complete restoration. Or would not take much to make a Rat Rod out of it or would be great parts car. You decide. Two door post cars are getting hard to come by. No you can not drive it home. (there is always one) No you can not work on this in my driveway. Again this is a restoration project.
