1969 Chevrolet Corvette Description

Up for sale is my very original 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 427 T-Top Coupe. It was originally purchased at Edmark Chevrolet in Nampa, Idaho on January 2, 1969. It has the factory original 427/390 HP motor. As per the factory Trim Tag, it has the correct Cortez Silver exterior paint w/Red Leather interior. The Trim Tag also denotes a body build date code of "D14" which indicates a Nov. 14th, 1968 body build date. It had ~69,000 original miles when I bought it several years ago, and it now has 70,265. The car always starts right up and it runs/drives great. It also includes the original Protect-O-Plate warranty ID card and a 1969 Corvette owner's manual. I posted pictures of the VIN tag, trim tag, engine stamp, intake manifold, bellhousing, Code AT Heavy Duty Posi-Traction rear end, 4-speed transmission, etc. etc. They’re all numbers matching original. It also has original (correctly dated) LOF safety glass windshield, door glass andrear glass. Door glass has the correct "Astro Ventilation" script.Even the sideview mirror (stamped "9-DMI-8" for Sept. '68) and rear shocks are original Delco Products Dayton OH Pliacell's dated late 1968 (see pics).
It has factory air conditioning, power disc brakes, factory power wipers, day/night rear view mirror, factory hide-away headlights, factory gauge cluster with 160 MPH speedometer and factory tachometer, factory trip odometer, factory tilt and telescoping steering column, factory removable rear window, factory removable t-tops, original seat belts, original Chevrolet Rally wheels with stainless steel beauty rings and correct GM center caps wrapped in like-new Red Line steel belted radials. All of the original chrome and stainless steel exterior body trim and moldings are in nice condition.
The original owner purchased the car at Edmark Chevrolet in Nampa, Idaho in January, 1969. That original owner sold it to a local friend of his in 1975. That gentleman owned it until 2017, when I bought it. I've been extremely happy with the car, but it's time to pass it onto someone else. The car is super original, but being 50 years old, it's not perfect. The clock doesn't work and the radio is very faint. Also, the second owner added the sidepipes before repainting the car, so it is not a factorysidepipecar, buttheylook the part and sound amazing.I welcome any pre-purchase inspections. Please only bid if you're serious.Feel free to call me with any Q's you may have: 408 309 5894.
