1971 Chevrolet Corvette Description

Body Off Restored Corvette Conv. Restomod Paxton Supercharged 350 V8 5-speed ///
A two-owner gem that rolled only 50K miles before its detailed restoration, this impressive Vette reflects rich black two-stage paint under a tailored Al Knoch Stayfast cloth top. That body-off rebuild was an eight-year affair that stripped the car's no-hit body absolutely bare, and fostered a complete refurbishing of its convertible top frame. And today, this Chevy rolls as a fresh, 500-mile land rocket that's been carefully massaged all the way down to its nuts and bolts. Every classic has a story, and this Corvette's story goes a little something like this: A solid sports car that, thanks to a very precise engine build, rolled out of the restoration shop with a supercharged EFI small block V8 which thrives on everyday pump gas! Bottom-side, a spry Richmond 5-speed makes excellent use of a billet flywheel and a tough Centerforce clutch. Opposite that clutch, a powder-coated driveshaft spins a posi-traction rear end that's finished with 3.36 gears and powder-coated axles. Traditional manual steering leads traditional Delco disc brakes. And power meets the pavement through timeless Chevrolet Rally wheels, which twist 255/60R15 Yokohama Avid S/T tires around polished trim rings and low-profile center caps. Between the doors, fully rebuilt seats kick off the car's more modern Oyster color scheme. In front of those mitts, a contoured dash hangs restored factory gauges next to Delco AM/FM audio. A 'long' shifter fronts restored fiber optics. And that fully interactive handle works well with a tilting wheel. Wrapping sinister aesthetics around a customized cockpit, a massaged drivetrain and 350 cubic inches of small block power, this roadster is all about the phrase "quintessential American classic"!
