1972 Chevrolet Corvette Deluxe Door Panels Description
Purchased in 2002 in Beverly Hills, CA. from whom I believe was the 2nd owner.
Original California (YF5 code) Corvette LT-1 Convertible. Originally Bryar Blue (repaint approximately in the early 90's)
Part of our private collection. More pictures available upon request. (most pics missing are of the undercarriage).Drives beautifully. Driven approx 200 miles a year for the past 18 years. (Yes. That's not a typo. It wasn't too often when I would take it off the top lift and take it for a spin.
I took it to the mechanic in November 2019 for the first time since purchasing it in 2002. The bill was $3,492.38.
Highlights of what was performed: (I had all original parts replaced returned to me. )
- Brake fluid flush
- new power steering pump
- new radiator & heater hoses
- oil, lube, & filter
- new front disc brakes
- new control arm bushings
- new lower control arm
Note: The internal receiver for the passenger side deck lid latch (easily accessed when the decklid is "up") is broken from age. The latch no longer locks into place like it should. Fortunately, this is not seen on the outside of the car and can be repaired without any evidence of repair. I just don't have time to have it repaired and I wanted to be as transparent as possible. The car can be driven whether the top is up or down. It's simply something that eventually needs to be repaired. I'm limited to the number of pictures I can post with eBay, so feel free to ask any questions or request specific additional pictures you would like. I can email/text them directly to you.
Vehicle is subject to local sale.
Obviously, vehicle is sold "as is" without any warranty (real or imagined)!
