1967 Chevrolet Corvette Description

Considering that today a L79 roadster is rather unusual this one is even more unusual because not only is it a numbers matching car but it has an odd list of options. According to the original tank sticker which we have and the trim tag the car was produced with the mentioned L79 350 HP, a close ratio 4-speed, 3.70 rear, PB, PW, telescopic wheel and radio delete. The car was frame off restored in 1999-2000 by a pro shop in Oregon and we have most if not all the receipts supporting this along with an album of photos showing the car being disassembled, restored and reassembly. Photos show some body work but no panel replacement. This restoration was very extensive including such things as a complete rebuild of the original engine by a pro shop for over $5k in year 2000 dollars, complete replacement of suspension front and rear with GM parts and powdercoating of the frame, suspension members and the rear center section. There are receipts supporting this and much more totaling over $40k. The car was not painted at that time but could use it now if desired. During this last year the car was recommissioned replacing tires, battery, rubber seals, glove box and the original heads were redone to use todays' unleaded fuel with stainless valves, etc. Fluids were all flushed, headlights rebuilt, tail light housings, tailpipes replaced and rear bumpers rechromed. Interior is quite nice with everything working as intended but the clock. Rugs are good save one small spot behind the seat. Top is good as is the dash pad. Records show the car has traveled less than 1k miles since the restoration in 2000. Many of the original parts such as the radiator, water pump, fuel lines were saved and are included. The remote battery switch shown in some photos will be replaced with an original and correct battery cable as it came from the factory. The car will not be sold for less than the starting bid so please don't ask. Not interested in trades but will look at steel Ford hot rod coupes 29-34 plus cash. As always, absolutely no test pilots. Thanks
