1980 Chevrolet El Camino CABALLERO
1980 Chevrolet El Camino CABALLERO Description
I bought this car in 2012 to take to car show, it ran great so I left the engine stock 267 V8. I started with new carpet, new upholstery, pioneer stereo, new cargo curtain and a Grant steering wheel.Summit Torque spoke 15x8 wheels and Cooper Cobra P245-60-15 tires then I replaced all the suspension bushings with Poly-Urethan, with Q-A1 coilover conversion and adjustable shocks up front, in the rear got Q-A1 upper and lower control arm, adjustable shocks and a sway bar.I did dress up the engine with parts from Summit Racing, Jeg, Cal Custom and March Performance. The body got a ground effects kit and fiberglass front and rear tucked bumpers. I then added paint and stripes. I still have the stock bumpers if you want them,I also have a new high output alternator still in the box and new finned aluminum vale covers and oil pan that go with the car . I'm out of time and money so it's time to let it go.
