1954 Chevrolet 3100 Custom Description

Are you looking for a classic muscle truck? This one had over $20,000 spent on just in the engine and chassis.
This 1953 Chevy was built to suit one man's dream. As you can see by the markings on the door he also used it as a promotional vehicle for his company. It started life as a 1953 Chevrolet. It now rides on top of a TCI Pro Street chassis with coilovers at all 4 corners, rack and pinion steering, power brakes with discs on the front and a 4-link rear end with panhard bar. All of this sits on a massive set of Mickey Thompsons. The alloy fuel tank is tucked neatly under the bed in between the frame rails and the battery is hidden inside a genuine Jack Daniels barrel mounted in the bed.
She's propelled by a Blueprint 383 stroker. This very low mile engine was bought new specifically for this build. Dyno sheet shows 430 + horsepower and 450 foot pounds of torque. It starts well and runs well and sounds fantastic! The engine package also includes a serpentine wide belt system running a modern alternator and compact Sanden air conditioning compressor. The engine is cooled by a full size radiator and a large thermostatically controlled electric fan.
Power is put to the wheels via a GM turbo 350 automatic with a 2800 stall speed and a Currie 9-inch rear end with 3.50 gears. This gives you a good balance between acceleration and highway drivability.
The body is an original all steel 1953 body with the exception of a more practical later GM bed with the original 1953 fenders. You can't miss the bold American faux patina paint job. The body was built for cruising and enjoying not as a full-on restoration so there is body filler and other repairs in the cab corners.
It runs and drives well and you can definitely tell the dude has huge wheels and tires.
The interior is simple, comfortable and practical. The AC is cold. You have power windows, modern bucket seats, center console, B&M shifter, Grant steering wheel and a full set of Auto Meter gauges. It has a new headliner and a sliding rear window.
The truck market is very hot right now, and you know you could not build this truck for anywhere near this price. If you want to modify to suite your own style there is still plenty of room in the budget at this price.
