1969 Chevrolet Camaro Description

Listed here with NO RESERVE is my 1969 Camaro. Obviously you can see that it's a project and it will be one of the cheapest 69 Camaro's in the country for that reason. The way I see it, this car can be fixed two ways. The first way I see is to go all out-buy the extra $2500-$3000 worth of sheet metal (just an estimate of course) for the panels/metal the car needs that are deemed unusable by you guys who don't want to deal with rust and dents-and there ain't nobody faultin' anybody for that here. And then take your time and build yourself a perfect car. Perfect sheet metal. Perfect interior. Perfect drivetrain. Just perfect. But that all comes at a cost-and not just money. Time too. But you seasoned car guys and gals out there already knew that. The other way to fix this car is simple. Cheap, quick, and easy. Patch the car up where it can be patched, section metal in where it needs it, and if you have your own drivetrain pushed over in the corner of your garage, you're in business-old school hot rod that you can hop in and go and not have to worry about door dings at the local grocery store or gas station. Most "purists" would scoff at the latter suggestion but I realize that not everyone has $20k to spend on a restoration. Just affording the car to begin with can be a challenge for some of us folks. So I see two ways to get this old girl back on the road but ultimately, you, the high bidder, get to decide. The car has all brand new front end sheet metal on it, new decklid I believe, and comes with brand new full quarter panels and brand new rockers. Car comes with a used spoiler and the standard shift console as well. Comes with some (most) interior trim-door panels, rear "door" panels, wiring harness, all the glass except the front windshield, etc. Lots of odds and ends that you'll have to have to put the car back together and on the road. At a quick glance of me just briefly walking around the car, other than the car needing the full trunk pan, rear wheel tubs, and rear frame rails, the pictures tell a pretty good story of what all patches/metal this old girl needs and I am no photographer so I am not taking and sending any more photos. If you are genuinely interested in the car, you are welcome to come look during the auction. You are also welcome to call me at 606-269-8911 Monday-Friday from 10AM-5PM Eastern time or message me here on Ebay. If you are not conveniently located to the car to be able to come look it over prior to auction's end or can't do your own labor, this car probably isn't for you. Try to come look or pay someone to come look for you! While I am running the car at NO RESERVE, at the end of the day, it's still a 69 Camaro that is somewhat complete less the engine and transmission and associated parts and I've already got fairly strong offers from a couple of different local wholesalers. The car is also for sale on our lot during the auction as well. In other words, bid to win and don't be bashful with your bids! Please ask any and all questions pertaining to the car prior to the weekend-don't wait til the last 2 minutes of the auction to decide you've developed a question or that your "better half won't let you buy a car". Be respectful and you'll receive the same from me. The car is located at 3133 US HWY 25E Middlesboro, KY 40965. The car is sold AS-IS/WHERE-IS with NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER. Again, I strongly encourage anyone interested, to come look at the car during the auction any way that you like. A $1000 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is due within 24 hours of auction's end and balance payment in full is due within 7 days. Also, I ask the high bidder to call me within 24 hours of auctions end to let me know transport and balance payment arrangements. Car will not leave my lot until payment has been made in full and/or cleared my bank. If I haven't heard from the high bidder within 24 hours of auction's end, they likely weren't serious anyway and the car will be up for grabs again. If you have a feedback less than 10, please call me prior to bidding so that I can verify genuine interest. I appreciate your time, bid to win and happy bidding!
