This custom 1969 Corvette Stingray started life as a 435hptri-power but the original motor and transmission was long gone when I got it. The454ci engine block was converted to 427ci and was built with closed chamberheads, an Edelbrock Performer manifold, HEI ignition, high-output oil pump. A DeWittsaluminum radiator with two electric fans keeps it cool even in traffic on a hotday. To accommodate the high-rise intake, a new L88 hood was mated to theoriginal hood and matches like factory. This strong power plant is cruisingwith a new TREMEC 5-speed manual transmission, featuring 3.63 gears in the rearend, with a balanced driveshaft. The Seeroids power rack and pinion it drivelike a modern car on its custom set of 17-inch Foose Knuckle wheels with newGoodYear Performance tires. It has an all-new suspension with Bilstein shocks onall four corners, composite transverse leaf springs front and rear along with4-wheel VetteBrakes disc brakes. This ‘Vette has a dark gray with a blackcenter stripe exterior. The black interior features C5 leather seats with newcarpet, console, dash, rear cubbies and door panels.
