1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z One Owner 18045 High Options Description

Up for auction is a 1986 IROC-Z Camaro. This car is what I would call a real survivor with only 18,045 miles. It was purchased by a friend of mine brand new in 1986. This Camaro has every conceivable option except for the power antenna, rear windshield wiper and day/night rear view mirror. Although the car is quite original and beautiful it is not perfect. As can be seen in the pictures the front skirt does have some damage as well as drivers side rocker as can be seen in the pictures. Some of the cool interesting options are the front drivers power seat with controls on the right hand side for lumbar etc. The rear trunk decklid has the power close option as well. What was quite common on these cars was that the hood shocks as well as the rear deck shocks wear out, these will need to be replaced as they do not hold up the hood or rear hatch. He is still running the original tires which amazingly are still legal. This IROC has always been in a heated garage since it was purchased back in 1986 and he tells me that it only has seen rain Two or three times. The car is equipped with an alpine security system and he also has a very nice car cover for it. The tint was put on by a local company soon after purchase. The underneath of the car is very clean and original thanks to the Rusty Jones that was Applied at purchase. When he was 20 years old he purchased this car and the insurance was so expensive that it was titled in his mothers name so insurance would not be a burden for him since all his savings were spent on purchase of vehicle.Fast forward to today he’s making a major move to Florida and the car must be sold. It’s regrettable for him but must be done. He’s having me handle it as he does not do eBay nor does he have the time to deal with it. Any and all questions can be handled by calling 860-485-8720 if I cannot answer them I will refer to my good friend. It is the buyers responsibility to pick up and make arrangements but I will aid in that process if necessary, Keep in mind there are more pictures upon request thank you and good luck
