1970 Chevrolet C/K Pickup / C-40 3500 Total Custom Build
Construction took over 3 years and 800+ man hours to get this truck built
Add to that all the hours it took sourcing and chasing parts and pieces to get it completed
The quality of this build is over the top, Only the best parts were used
and all parts were installed correctly

NO "good enough" compromises allowed


The Chassis is from a 1987 BOUNDER motor home
The Chassis was shortened 12 feet to match the wheelbase specs for a Chevy C-30 pickup
The Chassis was then upgraded for strength and rigidity by welding additional steel supports at all stress points on the chassis
The chassis was acid dipped to restore and clean the chassis back to bare metal
Then the bare metal chassis was powder coated black to preserve it
All new front independent front suspension installed with coil springs and air bag assistThe rear springs are heavy duty GM factory leaf springs
All new Hydro Boost DISC brakes were installed on all four corners, front & rear
New Alcoa 22 inch Aluminum Wheels6 New TOYO Proxies tires installed

Then from a 2007 Chevrolet 3500HD Silverado pickup donor truck
The GM 6.6 Duramax LBZ Diesel motor was installed
with the matching GM Allison 6 speed overdrive transmission
and the GM 14 bolt rear differential, all from the same donor truck
Horsepower rating of 410 HP, 925 ft pounds of torqueState of the Art Software package with 5 tune levels,Stock, Economy, Towing, Performance, Maximum

Then the CAB and front sheet metal from a 1970 C-40 truck was mounted on the new chassis
Next a pickup bed from a 1967 Chevrolet C-10 pickup was modified to fit the new chassisExtensive modification was done to the fenders and bed to make it fit and look correctA new spray in bed liner was installed to match the color of the body
