Stunning Silverstone 1968 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible with black vinyl hardtop included. This rare Corvette is powered by the numbers matching L-68 427 Tri-Power big block engine with 400 horsepower, Muncie 4 speed manual transmission and posi-traction rear. The engine compartment is highly detailed with correct valve covers, air cleaner, ignition shielding and smog pump. The all new C3 Corvette for 1968 was modeled after the Shinoda Mako Shark with aggressive features, better handling, and all the performance Vette owners had grown used to. Very nice paint covers a super solid body with good gaps and lines with bright chrome and stainless trim. The black convertible top is in good condition as well as the optional hardtop that is covered in black vinyl. The interior features black factory bucket seats, center console with correct chrome shifter, crisp and clear tach and gauges, am-fm radio and simulated wood steering wheel.
