1961 Chevrolet Impala Bubble Top Description

This is a barn find. We found it this morning and bought it because of the good condition. No apparent rust or dents. This car was modified to be a low rider and has a hydraulic system. We know very little about this car because we just found it this morning. It has been sitting in a garage for 10 years and before that was just a show car. This is a older restoration and has not been cranked or driven yet. Monday I will get it into the shop and see if it cranks. This is a rare and solid bubble top impala. As I find out more I will post it. Happy Bidding. 5/15/16 I got under the car and found some very clean floor pans and some more custom things like a chrome rear end I haven't found any rust at all. 5/16/16 OK I put a battery in it and primed the carb and it started up and ran smooth . I put it in drive and it moved forward and back, the brakes are a little sticky but work, it has drum brakes also I got the trunk open and found it has the hydraulic pumps and battery bank. I am going to charge them up in the morning and see if it all works. The bottom of the trunk pan has been replaced. I will post more tomorrow.
