1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Description

This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is powered by a DZ302ci Engine paired with a Muncie 4-Speed Transmission.

This is a real 1969 z/28 with the X77 code. This is not a clone or replica. The ‘69 z/28 is a very special car.The engine is why the Z/28 is so special. This is the correct DZ-code 302 cubic-inch V8 with a documented block casting in-line with this car's assembly. In fact, as you dig into the motor, you'll discover Z/28-correct components including the starter, dampener, timing gear cover, and special double-hump heads. The gasket on the air grabber means this properly seals to the cowl induction hood to inhale fresh air. This feeds the large and correct Holley DZ 780 CFM four-barrel carburetor, and this sit atop the correct Z/28 winters intake. The numbers-matching Muncie M21 is stout enough to handle all the power this race-ready motor is putting down. And the close-ratio four-speed stick combined with the date-coded 4.11 Positraction rear end to make sure this correct Z-car is also a terrific performer. The final part to this speed and control package is Chevy's power brakes with front discs. Original phantom green.

Runs and drives great. It could use speedometer cable and reverse linkage for the trans. There are a few very small bubbles under the paint (see pictures).
