Car is listed with no reserve and will go to the highest bidder!
Here is your chance at a very affordable turn key hot rod. 1980 El Camino. This is a super solid, very straight southern car with Texas and Oklahoma history. The car is currently in the DallasFort Worth metroplex. Car is smooth as glass on the highway!
Chevy 350 was rebuilt by the previous owner. Chrome aircleaner, Edelbrock valve covers, HEI ignition, New Edelbrock ASV2 carb, mild cam, Edelbrock Aluminum intake. Fresh tune. Engine starts and runs great. Headman headers. Under the hood is extremely clean and problem free.
Transmission is a 3-speed automatic with a B&M shifter. Shifts perfect.
Interior is red with nice new seats. "El Camino" is lettered into the seat backs. Very good condition. Dash is cracked from the Texas sun. Sony CD Player with an Aux input for using your cell phone to play your favorite tunes. Small amp and kicker box behind the seat. Sounds fantastic! Manual windows and locks and two sets of keys. Gauges, oil pressure, temp and amp. New tach. Gas gauge does not work and I have not tried to troubleshoot it.
All lights work fine.
Exhaust is probably 3-chamber Flowmasters. They rumble but are not loud and are welded chamber mufflers. True duals with Headman headers.
Glass is good.
Wheels and tires. New Jegs SSR wheels. Front 15x7 with New Cooper Cobra 235/60/15's Rear 15x8 with 4.5" backspacing and a 1/4" spacer. New Cooper Cobra 275/60/15's.
Brakes are front disc and rear drum.
Rear end is a stock GM 10 Bolt rear with an unknown gear ratio.
Body is very straight. New old school flat black paint with a 1/8" silver pin stripe. Sunroof.
This car runs great and ready to cruise. Take it on date nights, your local cruise or car events. It has no air conditioning and is not quite a show car but a very nice straight driver. I'm selling it only because I want a Rat Rod, Street Rod, Hot Rod roller.
Car is sold AS IS WHERE IS. Please resolve all your questions before bidding. $2,000 Non-refundable deposit is required at auction end. I will not ship this car, but I will happily cooperate with your shipper. Car is also listed locally.
Lastly, if you have anything you would like to see good pictures of, please reach out. I'll get in touch with you and get you the pictures you need.
Known issues:The gas gauge does not work. (Could be a minor electrical issue, or the sending unit)The starter solenoid sometimes clicks. If it occurs, you need to turn the ignition a couple times and it always hits. (Especially when its warm. Common SBC thing)

Clear title is in hand and in my name. Bid with confidence!
