Dyno-proven 473 hp at 6,000 rpm and 465 lb-ft at 4,200 rpm with multiple sheets to validate the power. Built from a '64 409 truck block and 333 small port heads with the best parts combination to put down the power. Final displacement is 416 ci. with a stock 409 forged crank, Eagle I-beam connecting rods, and Diamond 10.25:1 pistons. Comp Cams solid lifter, flat-tappet cam with 0.595/0.608-inch lift and 242/246 degrees duration at 0.050. A double-roller Cloyes timing set joined it with the crank. Isky lifters, Manley chromemoly 3/8-inch pushrods, and Scorpion 1.75:1 rocker arms round out the valve-train.

Hand-ported, 333 casting small port cylinder heads. The heads have been pocket-ported, blended the bowls, opened the ports up to the gasket openings, and cleaned up casting flash. ARP screw-in studs, pushrod guideplates, Comp dual springs, and Isky hardened keepers and ARP head studs and Cometic gaskets.

Edelbrock mechanical fuel pump, Edelbock small-port dual quad intake manifold, and twin Edelbrock AVS 500-cfm carburetors sucking through a huge Show Cars open element air cleaner. There's an MSD 6AL box, MSD Pro Billet distributor, Blaster 2 coil, and primary wiring shooting AC Delco R43XLS spark plugs. Exhaust gases are extracted via Jerry Jardine hand fabricated big tube Tri-Y headers that feature 2-inch primary pipes and 3-inch collectors. Hand-fabricated 3-inch stainless-steel exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers, finish off the system.

Power is put to the pavement through a severe-duty, wide-ratio Muncie M20 four-speed that was custom built for the car. A Centerforce 30-pound steel flywheel and 11-inch clutch assembly under a Keisler Engineering HD 621 bellhousing. Gears are shifted with a Hurst Super Competition shifter with Showcars stock-style shift lever and weighted knob. An Inland Empire heavy duty 3” two-piece driveshaft with 1350 U-joints and a billet center-support bearing spins a John's Industries extreme duty housing 9-inch with a nodular iron chunk, Eaton Tru Trac diff, 4.30:1 gears, and 31-spline axles.

Original frame. OE spindles but rehabbed the upper and lower control arms with Moog rubber bushings, installed Moog coils and Monroe SensaTrac dampers. Lower A-arms have factory sway bar mounting tabs. Steering box is new. Rear suspension was upgraded to a four-link setup using factory GM brackets. Brand new Moog coil springs with KYB gas shocks. Double adjustable Spohn upper control arms, Spohn adjustable panhard bar with polyurethane bushings. Spohn boxed lower control arms.

Fresh interior including bench seats, door panels, and carpeting supplied by Cars, Inc. The interior also features factory-style floor mats front and rear.

The stock drum brakes up front are all new and work great to stop this rocket, new drums also bring up the rear attached to the 9" diff. Period correct wheels are new 14x6 Wheel Vintiques steelies for the front of the car and 15x8 renditions for the back all wearing original Biscayne poverty caps. Rubber is fresh as well, BF Goodrich Silvertown 8.00x14 bias-ply tires are in front and on the rear is a set of 28x11.50 Mickey Thompson ET Street R DOT slicks with tubes. This tire and wheel combo is proven and drama free!!

Last, but not least, the body is all stock, painted 30 years ago in factory Desert Beige. The sheet metal looks to mostly original, cabin and trunk floors are solid and dry, paint has good shine and minimal flaws considering its age. There are no rust issues. Bumpers, trim and glass are original.

This car is truly sorted, well known and has proven a performance performance package that has been drama free for many years. It is a bargain for the next owner and needs nothing!
