1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Description

Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 . This car was stretched 47 inches and has been used as a Limo service for ten years It has Vintage Air Gen IV air conditioning, Ridetech air ride rear shocks, I DID IT tilt steering column with power steering and power disc brakes (front disc only) Chevy 327 with Turbo 350 transmission, March performance serpentine belt system, electric windows.Would be a great car for an airport transporter or your kids weddings like I did. I was able to provide a quality ride for my kids proms, weddings and special occasions for my Family, my kids and there friends. The 1955 chevy limo build began in 2004 from a project car(not completed) from Texas I bought off E Bay.The engine was rebuilt as well as the transmissionFront Disc brakes were also includedThe frame was extended by a professional frame shop and they also put in the two piece carrier bearing. I then took it to a local machine shop where they balance both shafts. The car has had the same tires on it that I bought after the car was put on the road. There is no uneven wear and allignment was completed by another local shop that specializes in trucks. The body has no cracks in it and other than garage scrapes and dings paint still looks good. The car has no rust and was always indoor stored when not in use.The side inserts are 2 door doors with new door skins. I also put a brace between the front pillar and the rear pillar for extra support. The roof was taken from a 55 station wagon. It has a modern fuse panel, Rain Gear windshield wipers and VintageAirGen VI heat/air conditioning conditioning. The engine has had several attempts at pulley systems till I finally finally went with March Performance system.I put ridetech air shocks in the back to handle loads when 6 people are in the back I also put station wagon leaf springs in the back. When I was carrying groups of people I put 10 to 20 pounds extra in the shocks. The car always rode level. I also put heavier coil springs in the front. The car was featured in the local prestigious Saratoga Automobile Museum and also in the local magazine HorsepowerThe car was used for Weddings and Prom for local car enthusiast for several yearsFurther pictures can be seen on https://1955chevylimo.shutterfly.com/pictures
