I have had this truck for about two years. I was going to have the truck repainted to remove the clear coat & ghost flames. I have a NIB tailgate from the previous owner. It needs nothing other than some cosmetic work or probably a repaint. I am selling because I have bought a replacement vehicle & no room for them all. It starts, runs & drives as good as any truck I have owned. The custom dual exhaust is too loud for my wife & I so we bought a quietertruck. I would sell this to a friend without any worries.
This truck is a survivor - all original fenders, cab, bed, frame and so on. It has never been rotted out or replaced any panels etc. The metal bed has been replaced with wood. A real survivor. I picked it up with all the original paperwork. Has an upgrade to the disc brakes complete system, plus power brake Booster from classic performance products CA.. This upgrade uses 1973-87 GM ball joints and tie rod ends making future replacements a snap. Has 3.73 gear ratio type 3 carrier type 3.07:1 stamped on the case - (43-tooth ring,14-tooth pinion). All new gas shocks, sway bars front and rear were added. The Transmission is a 700R4 with only 4,985 miles on it. It is an automatic with overdrive with a rocker switch on the dash so you can choose when to put in to overdrive Also, new drive shaft balanced and angles made perfect for a smooth and long-lasting ride. 3-1-16 with 69,620.0 miles on the truck. The engine was replaced with a 350 4 bolt main 325 hp with 375 lb/ft. in September 2015 from Summit racing. The engine only has 9,055 miles on it and the miles on the odometer now are 74,605. DART heads and a whole list of goodies. Balanced to help this engine to last a long time. Door locks upgrade when you lock the driver door the passenger door also locks. The A/C is the original system that came with the truck. It to was updated to all new hoses and condenser plus new PRO6TEN Aluminum air compressor, nice and cool. Installed electric window switches also. Also has a new Chrome heavy duty alternator. Has a full-tilt Extang tonneau cover that rolls up as well. and so on the list goes on to include custom exhaust, bluetooth audio, power windows & doorlocks, etc..etc..
