1993 Chevrolet Camaro
Let me start off by saying this car has been heavily modified. The entire drivetrain has been freshly gone through and still has under 3,000 miles on the build.
Under the hood is an LT1 that was machined over to 355 cubic inches and reassembled with Eagle Forged Internals, high compression pistons, a Comp Cams high lift cam, polished crank, ported and polished heads and metal head gaskets. The car is still fuel injected with a high volume pump pushing to SVO Injectors.
The exhaust system is a pair of Hooker Long Tube headers running to a custom 3 inch exhaust with a Magnaflow muffler dumping out through two massive stainless exhaust tips. This Camaro has the nicest sounding exhaust note of anything I own. The Hooker Headers have locking header bolts to ensure no leaks. The computer was tuned and the engine machining was done by Engine Lab Specialists of Lindenhurst New York. The transmission is also a fresh Borg Warner T56 6 speed with a one piece aluminum driveshaft running to a Strange Dana 60 rear end with 4:10 rear gears. There is a speedo calibrator in the center console to correct the speedometer for new rear gear set.
The suspension consists of tubular sub frame connectors and a tubed Spohn adjustable torque arm with a driveshaft loop. There’s also a tubular crossmember to support the transmission with Polyurethane bushings in place of the stock rubber. For brakes the Camaro is equipped with the Willwood 6 piston kit with the 6 pistons up front and the 4 piston calipers to compliment the rear. The tires are Michellin Pilots all the way around. They were the only ones that would hook up and keep this powerhouse glued to the street.
The interior of the car is gorgeous with new leather seats and door panels with suede inserts and a suede headliner. The carpet is also fresh and new and there’s Dynomat lining the floors to keep the inside quiet and vibration free. It’s got a full sound with an amp and Subwoofer. The A/C works and blows ice cold. Despite all the work into the car its still very streetable and is a turn key reliable performance car I wouldn't hesitate to take on a cross country rally. As long as it's fed premium, you're good for pump gas. The cooling system and drivetrain are very well behaved as well. I've driven the car in North Jersey rush hour traffic and not once has the temp passed 185 degrees. Let it sit and run as long as you want on a hot summer day with the AC on and this car will never give you a single issue. There’s not much more you could ask for, It's a very fun dependable sports car capable of dangerously high speeds that i've personally outrun an AMG mercedes and a C5 Corvette with. Don't miss out on an opportunity to own one of the most stealth sleepers and possibly the fastest turn key cruiser you're going to find.
