NO RESERVEThis is a 1976 GMC Sierra Classic 1500 that I purchased at an estate sale last year. My plan for this very original truck was to cut it down to a short bed but I haven’t been able to bring myself to do it. This is a rust free GMC that was brought to Missouri from California where it had spent most of his life in the early 90's. The truck actually had ziebart coating installed when it was bought new at the dealership. For those of you that don’t know what that is... they had holes drilled in the body and then filled with a rust inhibitor chemical. This is most likely the reason the truck is in such good shape. It’s powered by 350 small block Chevy with a 400 turbo automatic transmission and a 12 bolt rear end. The paint on the body is in pretty good shape. The paint was very faded when I brought it home so I wet sanded and buffed it and it brought the paint out really nice. The interior is way above average for one of these trucks being all original even with a set of factory floor mats and tilt column. All of the lights and gauges work and windows roll up and down as they should and the doors open and shut great. This truck features power steering, power brakes, A/C and tilt wheel. There are not many original trucks left in this condition. I am going to let the truck go to the highest bidder.
