1965 Chevrolet C-10 Description

Ultra clean 1965 Chevrolet C10 short bed driver with great patina.Body is a straight and solid 1965 Chevrolet BIG WINDOW C10 fleetside short bed with rear rolled bed pan.Frame is a solid 1985 Silverado short bed frame.Engine is a GM L33 5.3 aluminum block limited production Vortec 5300 H.O. with much desired 243 heads. More or less a Corvette motor with a truck intake factory rated at about 310hp and 335ft/lb of torque. BUT WAIT THERES MORE! As if that wasn't enough the motor was fitted with BTR (Brian Tooley Racing) Stage 3 cam kit and performance download. While not having dyno numbers at our disposal, it can be guessed that along with the tubed headers this C10 is running deep in the 400+ hp range. All this motor runs through a 4L60 4 speed automatic with a balanced driveshaft. A modified Hurst floor shifter arm acts as the shifter but gives the illusion of a manual transmission. With all that muscle the brakes have been upgraded with a chromed out power steering master/booster combo with front and rear WILWOOD BRAKES! Wheels are Ridler 650's 18" fronts and 20" rears. Wheels and tires are in brand new condition with zero damage.Interior is ultra clean with premium quality carpet and tastefully simple upholstered factor bench seat. All glass is clear and not damaged. Only recommended upgrade would be a modern retro gauge cluster, original gauge cluster looks a bit faded.Bed has been re-decked with urethaned pine boards and painted bed trim. Inner bed sides and wheel wells have been coated with bed liner.Overall a FANTASTIC driver quality ride with way too much horsepower for such a lightweight truck. The idle sound so mellow with a thump thump of a galloping horse that lets you know this thing means business! The C10 stops as well as it runs with the upgraded Wilwood brakes at all four corners. The more modern 1985 Silverado suspension and power steering work well for a more comfortable ride than the original.NO TRADES NO TRADES NO TRADES NO TRADES NO TRADES NO TRADES
