I have finally (reluctantly) decided to part with my 66 Impala Sport coupe. I have owned this car since May, 2012 and it has been a joy to own and drive. When I purchased the car from a fellow in Ohio it had 27,727 actual miles and as you can see I haven't put quite 2,000 miles on it in the 8 years I have owned it. When I bought the car it was bright red, 3 speed on the column and no power steering. I had the car repainted (red fire metallic), a new interior installed, new tires and wheels, 4 speed and power steering installed and the motor gone through. It has always been in covered storage since I have owned it. It is a true pleasure to look at and to drive. Unfortunately I just don't drive it enough to warrant keeping it. It is an absolutely beautiful paint job with no nicks or scratches. The interior still shows as new. It cruises effortlessly at 70 mph. The 283 cu. in. motor does a great job of moving the car right along. The transmission was rebuilt last year as it would occasionally pop out of third gear. That problem has now been eliminated. Inspections are encouraged and advised---just call for an appt. Shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser but I will help in any way I can. I have a clean Indiana title in hand that reads actual miles.
