1961 Chevrolet Corvair Description

1961 CHEVROLET CORVAIR

RAMPSIDE

Up for your consideration and at NORESERVE is this very unique 1961 Chevrolet Corvair Rampside pickup truck VIN # 1R124S120171. This Corvair is equipped with a 1967 model 110 hp horizontallyopposed 6-cylinder engine and a 4 speed manual transmission.

Theseare such cool and weird looking vehicles that seems to make everyone turn theirheads and smile. You can take this truck to the local car show or cruise injust the way it sits and spend all night answering questions about it.

This Rampside is in very good conditionfor its age and has what we believe to be 82,600 miles on the odometer. Thebody and interior are what you see in the current pictures. This is not a show truck but has the cool factor older patina. This wasoriginally a California truck and probably why it is not a rust bucket. Thereare a few bubble spots in places here and there but overall, very solid. Allmechanicals and electricals work properly as well as the lighting. The 110 hpengine was just serviced and installed by our local Corvair mechanic and hadnew O rings and gaskets installed prior to installation. This little Corvair should be a great futureinvestment that you can actually take out and enjoy instead of keeping locked inthe garage. It’s just plain cool looking.

Please take a close look at the currentpictures taken on 10/12/2020 and feel free to ask all the questions you wish.

This Corvair is being sold by a good friend ofmine that has asked for my computer assistance listing it on eBay. For a fulldetailed description or any questions, please feel free to call Jerry at 864-934-6358and I’m sure he’ll be more than happy to help you.
