1962 Chevrolet Impala Description

This 1962 Chevrolet Impala has been in my family since it was purchased - BRAND NEW - fresh off of the show floor. It's got just about everything you could ask for in terms of an original vehicle, and would make for an excellent starting point for a restoration project. The interior has been fully restored to it's vibrant cherry red original state, with pristine bench seating. The car was last registered in '01, and has been safely stored since then, but that also means that the engine is going to need flushed and some repairs will be needed before it will start. My grandfather tried to get it up and running a while back and replaced some different components before he stored it (which also resulted in the muffler heating up [which will need replaced] and melting a floor mat to the driver's side carpet [see pic attached below]. Other than that, the interior is pristine however). Here's some important details about the vehicle you'll need to know:
- 4 Door Hardtop Sedan
- 283 V-8 Engine
- 2 Barrel Carburetor- New Air Filter
- New Fuel Pump
- Automatic
- Fully Restored Interior
- Brand New Set Of 2 Studded Spares w/Rims
- Minor Dings
- Very Light Rusting
- Chrome Trim In Good Shape
- All Lights Are In Great Shape (Except For One Broken Tail Light)
- Starter And Regulator Replaced
- Nearly Everything Is Original
- 86,971 Miles On The Odometer
This car has been cared for, loved, and it absolutely shows. If you're interested in the car, send me an offer, I can answer any questions you might have via seller mail. I would like to sell it in the range of $10,995.00, but I'm open to offers. As previously stated, the car does not run as I can't pull the engine out to give it the TLC it needs after sitting for so long. So, it will need transported to your location, but I can guarantee it's worth it. Have a great day, and thank you for taking a look!
