1951 Chevrolet Suburban Description

Very unique panel as it is factory orange. the color was not available to the public, and only offered in the commercial line. Was a state truck at the beginning and then was used as a driver and camper by a man in a small town. Has original 6 cylinder and 4 speed. Has some outer panel rust but is normal panel repair stuff. floors and wood is in good shape for age. Motor turns over and may run with some work, but figured someone would V8 this anyway. Included are NOS lenses for turn signals. Has been switched over to 1980's solid bead rims from the original split rims. The original hub caps will fit on these rims after the clips from the original rims are installed on the modern rims. The clips are included with the truck. A 1920's spring mattress was modified to fit the wheel well for camping and comes with the truck. Neat to fix and drive as rat truck or to restore with a extremely rare color. Restore, or get mechanically sound to drive and have fun with. Located in SE Iowa 52649. Can store for a few months if needed to give buyer time to find a cheap shipper.
