1964 Chevrolet Impala SS Description

A real-deal 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS coupe in a sharp two-tone is already a desirable classic. It even has exceptionally low miles. But then when you mix the numbers-matching V8 with the control of a four-speed manual and the comfort of modern A/C, well then, this one turns into a full wish-list hardtop.
Impala coupes are highly collectable because the wide chrome grille up front and the broad six taillight arrangement are both icons of the 60s. And because these were the top trim of the era, it not only received wraparound chrome bumpers, but also the Impalas had the great full-length trim for added flair. So with this kind of crisp style, you want to have a coupe with crisp sheetmetal like this. The Azure Aqua is a great 1960s color, and it's a modern clearcoat application that loves the sunshine. The pillarless hardtop profile of these coupes is part for the legend, and so it's great to see it in a standout white. The final piece to catch the eye-catching package is a set of polished Cragar SS wheels that give this an upgraded attitude without taking away from the vintage vibe. And that kind of theme is seen throughout the car, because it's a true classic of distinction. After all, when do you think you'll find another one with such low mileage again?
The interior continues the cool two-tone style. So you'll love keeping the windows down on this pillarless hardtop just to show off the well-coordinated look inside and out. The seats, door panels, dash, and carpeting all look very vintage and well-respected. There are upgrades, and they're well-integrated. For example, the auxiliary gauges are mounted in a machine-turned panel to match the dash. And the radio looks like a factory unit, but it's a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner with an aux input for your iPod. The air conditioning unit has that ideal classic style (don't forget that GM owned Frigidaire during this era.) This is a great full-size classic to share with family and friends, but you never need any of them to have fun. After all, as a real-deal Super Sport, this one speaks to the driver. That's why you have front bucket seats, a center console in-between, a Hurst shifter, and even the correct tach mounted front-and-center on the steering column.
Under the hood is the numbers-matching 327 cubic-inch V8. And since this is the original motor, it's great to also see a stock-style presentation, including the air grabber w/callout. But as you look closer, you'll also spot worthwhile upgrades everywhere from the Optima red top battery to the Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. It's a strong-running V8, and it connects to a date-correct Muncie four-speed manual transmission. So you've got some terrific history and proper control over the V8 power. Add in power steering, power brakes, and wide Cooper Cobra tires, and this SS is a great all-around cruiser.
The sale even comes with some nice paperwork, like title documentation, build receipts, and maintenance records. This is the low-mileage and sharply present Impala SS. It's a true standout total package that's ready today, so it might not be here tomorrow. Call now!!!
