1968 Camaro Rally Sport 327 Numbers Matching Documented Car
1968 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport Description
I am selling my 1968 Camaro RS
Documented 82,286 Miles All Numbers Matching
This 1968 Camaro was purchased brand new in Pittsburgh, PA by a local guy. The Camaro was later acquired by a dealership in 1995. On 5/31/95 the next owner traded in his 1992 Harley to the dealership so he could purchase the Camaro. Not too long after owning the Camaro the tranny started to slip. He then parked the Camaro in his garage in 1996 and it sat since. His close friend ended up buying the Camaro from him and sent the transmission out to be completely rebuilt. He then re installed it and ran all new lines. He then undercoated thebottom of the car if you were wondering why it looked weird in the picture. He then took the stock 2 Barrel intake off and installed an Edelbrock intake, HEI distributor and a new water pump. The guy lost interest in finishing it and thats where I came in to buy it. Since then I put the Carb on, newalternator, new starter, removed old rusted fuel lines and replaced it with a new rubber line, installed new wires, new plugs, and a few other odds and ends. All that needs to be done is to adjust the timing and I think adjust carb air fuel mixture (I would have done it but I don't have a timing light and never adjusted a carb in my life). The car does Run, Drive, and Stop well just little things need tweaking. The Paint is driver quality (some chips, scratches, bubbles), the vinyl top is inamazing condition and has no rust bubbles whatsoever underneath, and lastly the interior is in originalimmaculate condition (radio also works). This 1968 Camaro Rally Sport is a great cruiser for thesummer.
Included is the original Protection Plate, Owners Manual, Purchasing letter, and a few other papers from when the first and second owner purchased it.
The Original Color of the Camaro was Ash Gold. The Camaro had onerepaint.
