1972 Chevrolet Chevelle 454 Description

This is a "Absolutely Gorgeous" show quality all original panel 72 Chevelle with build sheet that has had a frame off restoration done in Cream Yellow (Code 56) with black strips - which are buried in the clear, base coat clear coat, wet sanded and wheeled slick as glass, straight as an arrow, factory functional cowl induction hood, new weather stripping and window felts, all factory tinted glass in excellent condition, all factory original window stainless in excellent condition, factory remote sport side view mirror, new emblems, re-chromed front and rear bumpers, new parking light and head light bezels, new wheel well trim.
Factory black bucket seat console interior, original dash in excellent condition, factory tach and gauges package - which all work correctly, factory AM/FM stereo with 8 track, front and rear speakers, tilt steering, factory SS sport wheel, new headliner, front and rear door panels have also been replaced, front and rear seats have also been redone, factory front and rear seat belts with shoulder straps, original 4 speed center console in excellent condition, Hurst Competition Plus shifter, new carpet with floor mats, new sill plates.
Under the hood the original 454 has been replaced with a GM Crate ZZ454, 440 horse - came with GM performance aluminum cylinder heads, matching bow tie aluminum intake, Demon 750 4 barrel carb, billet aluminum valve covers, K & N air filter, MSD electronic ignition, HiFlow aluminum water pump, heavy duty radiator with correct shroud and fan, power steering, power front disc brakes, front suspension has been completely gone through with all new components, car also came equipped with F41 suspension package; larger front sway bar, rear sway bar with boxed control arms, this strong running 454 is backed up with a Muncie M22 4 speed, Hurst Competition Plus shifter, also updated with Lakewood blowproof bellhousing, factory exhaust manifolds into 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust out the back with correct bell tips, factory type mufflers, 12 bolt posi rear end with 331 gear, during restoration previous owner removed the factory air condition; prepped for Vintage Air and Heat, but never installed.
Rides on a set of factory SS wheels with new rings and caps, BF Goodrich TA Radials all around 235/60 up front and 275/60 out back.
