1948 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 Description

The truck shown in the picture is the truck prior to mounting it on an 1980 Corvette frame. It is sold as a project.The conversion started with a 48 Chevrolet Pickup with an appraised value of $24,500 (appraisal report available). The truck is complete as the only thig different from the "as was" truck shown in the picture and the "as is" truck as shown in the attached pictures is the 1980 corvette frame. The original truck has a small block V8, automatic transmission, PS, PB, PL, and PW. The body is mounted to the frame which was extended 24". The running boards and front fenders have been modified to fit the corvette chassis. The bed is brand new with stainless hardware. The work to finish the truck is essentially body work on the front, re-assembling the old truck on the new chassis replacing the fuel line, break lines, brakes. and new paint.The truck is located in Stoughton, MA and available for viewing.
