1954 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Description

28,054 actual miles! Same owner the last 53 years! He purchased it 12-21-67. We have a copy of the hand written title from 1967. We also have a folder of miscellaneous maintenance records over the years. Very well preserved survivor.
EXTERIOR: I love the unique color on this car. It's also loaded up with a bunch of accessory trim. The body is in outstanding condition. No signs of body work, rust or bubbles. It is absolutely straight and everything fits precisely. The paint still shows very well, it is believed to be mostly original with some touch up work. The dealers sticker is still on the trunk. Look at all chrome in front! It has a big grill, bumper guard, hood ornament, spears on top of the fenders, headlight bezels etc. On each side it has stainless moldings down the sides, on the rockers, on top of the doors etc. It also has optional door edge gaurds, door handle gaurds, fuel door trim and stone shields on the rear quarters. In back it has optional reverse lights and bumper guard. The chrome is straight but showing age. The stainless is still exceptionally nice. It has a power convertible top. It's white and it still shows well. The door jambs are clean, the rubber still soft. There are aome very old oil change stickers. The original windshield is still crystal clear and it has a city sticker from 1976. The rims are the same color as the car, it has full size hubcaps and wide white wall tires.
INTERIOR: It is very nice inside. The upholstery and door panels are in excellent condition. The carpets have been replaced. The dash area is really, really nice shape. All the chrome trim, gauges, lenses, knobs heater control panel, original radio and even the steering wheel are beautiful. The visors, kick panels, window cranks are all very nice.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very clean and proper. Original paint on the firewall is very clean. The motor was neatly repainted. In 2002 the fuel pump, belts and hoses were replaced. It was tuned up and carb rebuilt. It runs like a swiss watch. It has an optional oil filter. The battery is new.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Inside the trunk is solid. It has black rubber mat and the cardboard side walls. It also has a white wall tire that has never been used and the jack assembly. There are a few boxes of parts and extra trim included.
UNDERSIDE: Rock solid original metal. No rot, no patches. Everything apoears proper and in good shape. In 2002 the fuel tank was flushed, brakes were rebuilt, shocks replaced, new rear springs and shackles and the chassis was lubed.
There are not many '54 Bel Air convertibles around, a low mile survivor is extremely rare. A low mile car like this has a certain quality that cannot be duplicated in a restoration. It has some patina from age but it feels right. Things fit and function best on an original. This is a rare opportunity!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
