Rear End: Rear differential original 12 bolt truck with 3.73 gears and factory posi. Still running strong, has slight pinion howl on de-acceleration. Could use an overhaul as it is 53 years old, but very functional. Occasionally Posi does not engage.Suspension:4 wheel disc brakes stopping 20" wheels, CPP front and rear anti-sway bar, CPP rear pan hard bar, CPP tie rods and end links, CPP Performance quick ratio steering box, KYB front and rear shocks, 3" drop front spindles stock springs, 5" rear drop springs.
Body: Originally from the South - truck has solid floor pans, outer rockers have been replaced, doors are solid and original with very little apparent repairs, no rust in fenders or quarters. Cab corners are still solid and a magnet will stick to all areas, so whatever repairs were made before the re-paint were minimal. All in all very solid - no rot through whatsoever. Typical scale / surface corrosion under the bed floor Truck has been repainted by the previous owner in a single stage paint that has been recently wet sanded and buffed, it was originally orange. Still has factory markings on the front firewall. Paint condition is not a show winner, but presents itself well for a daily driver. Original fuel filler on cab has been eliminated and primered. Bed floor has some lumps and bumps and cosmetic blemishes from being used throughout its life with some pin holes. Fuel filler cap installed in bed. New windshield. New wiring harness for whole truck with ATO fuses
.Interior: Gauges - speed hut brand. Speedometer, tachometer, and quad qauge fuel oil pressure coolant temperature and voltage that include a programmable warning light for each encased in a new gauge panel. Bench seat has been re-foamed and re-upholstered in a beautiful black hounds tooth pattern reminiscent of the era. Steering wheel is from a 60's AMX but the original wheel is included in sale. New dash pad, new door panels, and vinyl floor covering an insulated floor pan. '
Exhaust: Doug Thorley ceramic coated headers, stainless steel mandrel bent 2.5" exhaust running back to dual Borla 2.5" Pro XS mufflers
.Miscellaneous: This truck has a 4" drop consisting of 3" drop spindles, a 1" taller ball joint, 5" drop springs in the rear with NO C-NOTCH. This frame is the original short bed frame for the body and has not been chopped, cut, or hacked. Frame is solid with no damage and has been repainted. I have accumulated almost 5700 miles in 3 years on this build. With this engine and trans combination and 373 gears this truck gets up and moves. I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. This truck handles like a sports car with the suspension and the steering upgrades. It corners tight and has a firm ride. 5700 miles on engine and rebuilt transmission since build completion for a total +/- 60K miles on engine, 5700 miles on transmission. All lights and signals function except for dome light. Heater works with a solid blower assembly with no cracks. Truck has no A/C - not factory equipped with it. Truck has 3 point seatbelts - up to new owner to assume liability of their function or performance. 20" wheels and tires have plenty of tread. I have had zero issues since building this truck and has been reliable every time I take it out for a drive. It is extremely fun to drive and gets a lot of attention everywhere it goes. Has a lot of thought and time put into the parts and combinations to make it the way it is. I have a pile of receipts for the parts i have added.. CLEAR IL TITLE IN HAND This truck does not have windshield wipers installed and does not get driven in the rain or snow. The wipers do work and new arms will be installed at time of sale.
