Restoration Summary

Thank you for your interest in this vehicle. We purchased this truck in 2019 and have since completed a frame off rotisserie restoration. The drivetrain is essentially as we purchased with some upgrades. Most of the body panels are new panels are new. We have done our best to describe the vehicle and welcome questions from serious bidders. We put 3 miles on the truck after the restoration and prior to placing this listing.

Body

Original Panels

The cab, cowl, doors, and dash were retained and appear to be original to the truck. The cab corners were apparently replaced at some point.

New Panels

New panels with the restoration included:

· Code 504 S10 frame conversion package

· hood (one piece)

Bed

New oak bed with polished stainless strips

Glass

The door glass appears original. The windshields, rear window and vent windows (including vent window frames and latches) are new.

Frame

The truck has an S10 frame, a common conversion for these old trucks. The frame was cleaned and prepped prior to being pained. As part of the restoration, a proper Code 504 frame conversion package was installed.

Suspension, Steering, and Brakes

The truck has 100% new suspension, steering, and brake components.

The Summit Racing steering column is attached to a new factory gear box and Tuff Stuff pump.

The brakes are disc in the front and drum in the rear, with all new components, including lines, master cylinder, Wilwood proportioning valve, residual valves, and booster. Emergency brake is a Lokar floor mount, and new Lokar cables.

All suspension components were replaced, including front coil springs and control arms, and rear leaf springs.

Drivetrain

The drivetrain was not replaced as part of the restoration. The prior owner indicated it was an excellent, reliable driver. Engine codes indicate it is a 305 SBC. The transmission is a 2004R (4-speed automatic). The rear end is a GM 10 bolt. ** correction- listing originally indicated 12 bolt **

Everything has fresh fluids, with new freeze plugs for the engine. I’ve dressed the engine up with a new Edelbrock Performer intake and carburetor, new aluminum air filter, valve covers, and oil pan. Sanderson ceramic headers backed are by MagnaFlow polished mufflers, and new steel fuel tank. Fuel delivery is by Holley frame mounted electric pump, with all new fuel lines. The new aluminum water pump is paired with new radiator. March serpentine pulley (custom metal work required for inner fender due to alternator location- looks great, photos available upon request)

At the time of this listing, we found no fluid leaks.

Electrical

The electrical components are 100% new.

· Painless wiring harness (with custom mounted fuse box in the speaker box behind the seat for easy access).

· ProForm alternator

· Summit Racing HEI distributor

· Morroso 8mm plug wires

· Accel plugs

· Kenwood radio receiver/CD player

· Rockford Fosgate speakers

· New Vintage dash instruments

· Duracell battery is frame mounted

· Rear lights are LED

Vacuum wiper drive and switch appear original and functional

Interior

The interior parts are all new, and include:

· Procar seats

· Custom center console with storage

· TMI door panels

· New Vintage gauges

· Lokar floor shifter

· Lokar floor mounted emergency brake

· Custom speaker box behind the seat, with fuse box built in for easy access

· Carpet with pad

· Sound deadening liners for all cab exterior surfaces

Paint

Both the paint base and clear are AkzoNobel (Lesonal and U-Tech respectively)

Shipping & Delivery:

1. All shipping charges are buyer's responsibility.

2. The amount of time it takes for delivery is dependent on the carrier, but is generally 7-14 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our office. Contact your shipper for arrangements.

Finalizing The Purchase

1. Virginia Speed and Customs will contact the successful high bidder by e-mail after the auction closes.

2. The successful high bidder MUST contact us within 24 hours of the auction ending to make appropriate arrangements to complete their transaction. If we are unable to confirm your intention to purchase the vehicle, we reserve the right to relist this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer at any time.

3. Earnest money of no less than $2,000 must be received via wire or Paypal within 48 hours of winning bid.
