1947 Chevy Truck ¾ ton
A museum piece/ An advertisement piece
A collector item/One of kind
This beautiful unique Chevy Custom/Cab truck comes from the City of New Braunfels, Texas. We were told that the truck was ordered for delivery of pharmaceutical supplies to doctors as in the 1940’s, most of the doctors worked from their home.
The truck went through 15 years of restoration. Over $30k was spent on parts, paint, interior, engine, transmission, etc. The truck runs good and it comes with its original straight 6 engine and standard transmission. It is equipped with beautiful cabinets around the bed that open with brass handles and brass locks. The interior of the cabinets have wooden shelves.
I’m not going to list all the new items or rebuilt items as there are too many. Literally, everything on this truck is brand new and there are tons of extra parts that go with it. Some are even new in their original box as I got carried away buying things for the truck that I might not be able to find again in the future.
The truck comes with a clear Texas title, and it has spent all its 74 years in one county in Texas. If you would like a video of it running, I can text the video to you.
Please remember that even though in my opinion the truck is perfect, it is not a hundred point truck.
All the inspections must be done before the auction closes.
Remember that this classic TRUCK is 74 years old. Please remember that things always look better in pictures. So you are more than welcome to come see it in person.
