1990 Nascar Chevrolet Lumina Darrell Waltrip #17 replica rolling chassis no engine no transmission built by Brandon Keller from Joe Gibbs Racing in North Carolina. Brandon is an expert sheet metal fabricator and was also a race car driver using the #17 on his own cars. Because of that he became a fan of Darrell Waltrip and built the car you see here listed today. He unfortunately had to sell the car 5 about years ago. now I have to sell the car. Our loss your gain situation here. Brandon acquired a rare early number Richard Childress Racing chassis to be as period correct as possible. I was informed that this chassis would be correct to build a period correct replica Dale Earnhardt car if one chose to do so. A coat of black paint and you are on your way. Car includes many parts as pictured. new motor mounts, new magnesium bell housing with new mid mount motor plates. Willwood Nascar racing calipers, 4" Nascar drive shaft, all new polycarbonate windshield rear window and side windows, 31 spline full floater axles, new Butler racing seat, new CJR power steering box, new Autometer Ultralite Memory Tachometer and gauges, brake and clutch cylinders with knob controlled brake bias control, carbon fiber air box with cowl air inlet panels, Hard to find period correct tires and wheels, Wide body Super Speedway front end, window net hanger and brackets, new Pro Fab CNC flange cut headers and used period correct exhaust, also including a late model exhaust "X" pipe, detachable racing steering wheel, All pictured memorabilia including Richard Childress singed original framed picture with approximately 500 original bumper stickers. complete decal sticker set not applied yet. This is because I considered repainting the fluorescent orange paint areas as there are signs of it bleeding through where the body panels were attached. They did not use enough primer sealer in my opinion. most of the large decals however cover the majority of the areas. This is a very nice car that someone will benefit greatly from. I was going to build it as a parade car/charity event car/cruise to car show car. Note ebay listing made me put 'clear' in the titlelisting. This car is being sold with a "bill of sale only".
