Sun Valley Auto Sales is proud to offer this high quality 56 Chevy for purchase. This is a very high quality build that earns respect from the most judgmental hot rodder. However that doesn't mean this has to be a trailer queen. We like to remind everybody that yes this is a pick up truck and you can still use it like one. We really like its hot rod flat Lead Sled Silver and its professionally restored Torch Red interior. This truck has the guts to back up its styling with a 1970 LT-1 355 small block V8 featuring; a steel crank, rods, fuelie heads, Edelbrock air gap dual plane, demon 750 CFM double pumper carb, HEI distributor, comp cams hydraulic 508 lift/292 duration, new roller rockers, push rods, and double springs. That is mated to a completely rebuilt 700R4 with a new torque converter. A 79 Z-28 donated its front suspension clip and has been completely rebuilt with new bearings and bushings. The rear end its a 10 bolt positrac with 3:73 rear gears. Gases are expelled with all new long tube ceramic coated headers backed up by 3" piping and flowmasters dumping before the rear end for a clean look. Underneath the frame and sheet metal were sand blasted / metal etched, and primed. The bed is all new including the bed strips. The planks were stained torch red to match the accent color theme. The rig sits on Torque Thrust wheels, 17x8.5 out back and 15x6 up front. Behind the wheels are drum brakes with new lines and a new 7" brake booster and master cylinder. The entire truck has been re-wired; lights, grill, bumper, and turn signals. The glass is brand new and it is supported by new weatherstripping. This truck really stands out and has the mechanics to back it up. Show it and use it. It drives comfortably at 65 mph. Be sure to watch our test drive video. In state purchases will be charged Idaho sales tax of 6% to be remitted by Sun Valley Auto Sales. Documentation fee of $195, In state temporary 72 hour registration $8, Out of state 30 day temporary registration is $5. Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 3 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. If you need financing I can work with your lending institution or I can help you arrange financing. You must have approved financing arranged before the end of the auction.
