1990 Chevrolet Grumman Former Mac Tool Sales Truck - Make A Food Truck!
1990 Chevrolet GRUMMAN Description
1990 Chevrolet Grumman -- Former Mac Tool Truck -- with heavy duty Theiman aluminum checkerplate lift gate.
Chevrolet Grumman P6000 P Series. 3 owners. Never been in an accident.
Has a clear title. I am a private owner, not a business. You can call me at 1-513-405-3995 to discuss the truck before placing your bid.
This truck was previously used as a Mac Tool Sales Truck and a Motorcycle Racing Truck. RUNS & DRIVES GOOD!
Has 115,228 miles on it.
Could be used for A FOOD TRUCK, Car or Motorcycle Racing, Tools Sales, Equipment Sales, Carpentry, Plumbing, Carpet Layer, Electrician, General Contractor, Moving & Storage and so much more. The possibilities really are endless for this truck.
Has a V-8 454 Chevrolet Gasoline Engine. Automatic transmission. NO LEAKS.
Power steering. Power brakes. The transmission shifts good.
The headlights and all the exterior lights work, I have replaced 2 nonworking bulbs since I took these night photos.
All Aluminum body and aluminum checker plate floor under the new 3/4 plywood layment in the rear.
Rooftop A/C works and gets cold. This setup is very similar to an RV setup.
Has a Honda Generator underneath that does work, but you have to jump it--it does not start with the switch inside.
The truck has 2 brand new CAT larger, commercial-size batteries.
I installed new plugs, new wires, new cap & rotor button.
Has a new fuel pump inside the 60 gallon gas tank. Has 1/4 of a tank of gasoline in it currently.
Has heat and defrost up front for driving purposes, there is no rear heat.
Has a small, factory exhaust fan in the rear ceiling.
The windshield wipers work.
The heavy duty, aluminum lift gate works. Lifts and locks into position. You can operate it from the ground or up on the lift. The cord has electric tape on it, but still works. The lift gate goes down, up and all the way to the ground for loading and unloading stock or heavy equipment.
Exhaust fumes --TRUCK DOES need a tailpipe --from the manifold to the muffler is present, but it needs a tailpipe.
TIRES: Has 6 matching Toyo 9R 22.5 133/131 L Hyparadial Tires. No dry rot, the tires are very nice with excellent tread -- they do have some flat spots from the truck sitting. Once the truck gets driven and the tires heat up, these minor flat spots should go away. The average personprobably wouldn't notice this, but I am aware of it.
The truck has 2 very small, square sunroofs on the rooftop. The sunroofs used to leak. When I got the truck, I sealed around them and they haven't leaked since.
MEASUREMENTS: The truck exterior measures 31 feet from front bumper to rear lift gate. (31'.) 7 foot 10 inches wide from exterior side to exterior side. (7' 10".) The drivers area measures 5 feet from the windshield to the back of the drivers seat. (5'.) The cargo area measures 18 feet long and 7 foot 3 inches wide. ( 18' x 7' 3".)
Both the drivers window and the sliding door window roll down.
Truck is equipped with an AM/FM Cassette player and it has speakers in the front and rear.
The cargo area ceiling and walls are pegboard. This can be used or removed. The ceiling still has the black rubber bands in the pegboardthat was used by the Mac Tool salesman to suspend wrenches and tools.
There are 3, working electric outlets in the cargo area.
The exterior paint is the original Mac Tool white and yellow. Has some chips, scratches and fading. If you are starting a new businessyou would likely want to have the truck "wrapped" or painted.
The little round locks on the exterior maintenance doors were removed at some time, not by me. They are about the size of a quarter andare in the lower right hand corners of the little doors. They sell them at Lowes & Home Depot, so you could replace them if you wanted to and have one key that locks them all.
The truck has one ignition key and one sliding door lock key.
This truck is 26 years old with a clear Ohio title.
There are currently no obvious problems or obvious impending problems that would prevent this truck from getting on the road headed towards it's new home. Keep in mind it is 26 years old and it's mechanical history prior to my ownership is virtually unknown. If you choose to ship it to your home, I can hold it here for up to 30 days as long as it is paid for within 3-5 days or as we agree on.
At the auction end, I require a $100 good faith payment through PayPal with THREE DAYS to pick the truck up from my home in Williamsburg, Ohio 45176 after the auction ends (unless we have spoken and agreed to other terms) and the remaining balance paid by cash on pickup or cashier's check. If you make payment and mail a cashier's check to me immediately after the auction ends---after the check clears my bank you could take up to 30 days to pick up the truck if necessary, but the truck has to be paid for first.
I have been on eBay for many, many years. As you can see by my feedback, I am a good and honest eBay seller. I have put my phone number on the listing above so you can call meprior to placing your bid with any questions or if you would like more photos sent to your email address. 513-405-3995. Tony.
Thank you for looking.
