1941 Chevrotet Coupe Street Rod.
1941 Chevrolet Other Description
I have a 1941 Chevy Coupe, Street Rod Project, that I have decided to sell even though it is almost completed, I have no interest in finishing.. I think I am getting too old.. I am having issues with both my sight and patience. I just don't have it in me to go at it any more.. I bough this car about 1/4 of the way through it's completion, from a friend, who was a very popular local builder, due to his health failing.. I continued the project to the point it is now.. After taking a break from the build due to my Fathers death, and having to take care of my Mother for a few years, getting back into the build just isn't motivating me right now... I hate to see it just set in my garage making no progress. I would love to see it in the hands of a motivated fellow car guy....
There has been a lot of high quality work already done to this car, both by the previous owner and myself.. I am a bit of a perfectionist and it shows in my work!! I do it all myself to make sure it is done right..
Here is a list of what has been done so far:
The engine is a 1992 Chevy TBI with less than 4000 miles on it. Painted to match body color.
The Transmission is also a 1992 Chevy 460 EL also with less than 4000 miles.
The steering Column is 1992 Chevy Van.
The front suspension is a Complete 1978 Monte Carlo sub frame with New springs, 1" drop spindles, New bearings, seals, Calipers and brake pads.. It has the 1978 Monte steering box but it could use replaces because someone made a repair to the casting.. other wise it works.
The rear end is a 1974 Chevy Nova Posi-traction with New ring and pinion 355 gears. New bearings, seals, and brakes with Chassis Engineering leaf springs and shock supports.
All new wheels and tires.
