I am reluctantly selling my 1977 Corvette, in a NO RESERVE AUCTION, to reduce my collection.
I bought this car in 2011 from a dealer in Virginia (car out of South Carolina)and I have over $26,000 invested in the car. ThisoutstandingCorvettecomes with a new paint jobof GM Bright Red, first used on the '86 Corvettes. The red interior is substantially new and is in excellent condition. The problematic and ugly urethane front and rear bumpers have been replaced with the "1980 style" fiberglass bumpers. The look of this car is absolutely gorgeous and it gets a lot of attention when out on the road and at cruise nights. It has won numerous awards at local car shows and drives down the road solid and true.
The C3 is an inexpensive way to get into a Classic Corvette. This one has had all the work done and is ready to drive or show.
I have a free and clear titlein my name and I am ready to sell to the highest bidder. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION and this Corvette will be sold to the highest bidder.
There is an extensive list of updates and upgrades including:
It runs on a set of American Racing Chrome Wheels with 235/45 R17 tires (front) and 255/50 ZR17 tires(rear) Tread depths areapprox.8/32.Only 3,800 miles since engine rebuild (previous owner - I have no details). Engine runs strong with good acceleration and no smoke. Engine bay tricked out with lots of chrome. Factory AC installed but not cooling. Factory Cruisealso inoperative.
The vehicle is advertised locally and in numerous publications so I reserve the right to cancel this auction at anytime and for any reason.
All sales are final. Buyer is purchasing this vehicle AS IS, WHERE IS with no warranties implied or expressed or written.
This Corvette is not a trailer queen and is driven regularly to local shows and cruise nights. I have tried to accurately describe the condition of this vehicle, but buyer should assumed this vehicle has some degree of wear and tear, scratches and evidence of use on the road.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgment solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle, at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.
I require a $1,000 non refundable deposit via PayPal, within 48 hours after the auction closing.
Full and final payment to be made within 7 days of the end of the auction. The only forms of payment accepted for the remaining balance of the sale are Cash in Person; Cashier's Check; Bank to Bank Wire Transfer. The title to the vehicle will be provided once funds have been confirmed received and released by my bank.
