1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Description

This is aGREAT PROJECTwith a ton of potential. I was in the process of makinga mean, ld school hot rod. But, ou know the story - too many projects and this is the next to go. Body and interior are just as Igot it. Ibought it as a roller and installed the current drivetrain. ****Can contact me for a price as a roller only, will gladly sell it less engine, rans, riveshaft and exhaust so I canput it allinto a differentproject I have****

It is running/driving/stopping, ut isreally notroadworthy yet. It is only basic wired to run. Needs all lighting wiring and accessory wiring looked over and/or redone yet. Body wasmade over before many years ago and painted blue as you see it. All of the outer stainless trim is there and included. The lower rear quarters and outer rocker skins that are in primer are just riveted in place for now. Rear wheel well radius opening is just rough cut right now.

Snappy 283 withjust acouple thousandon a rebuild - bit of a cam, ew headers, lder Corvette heads and intake if I remember right, olished Holley 4 bbl. Itcould usefinal precise tuning yet, ut is running real good.

Saginaw 3 speed with new shifter, tock open rear end(think it's 3.55), ustom made dual straight pipe exhaust. Has new master cylinder, ew rearwheel cylinders and many new brake lines - front brakes need going over yet. New fuel tank and sending unit and new aluminum radiator.

FRONT SEATS ARE NOT PART OF THE SALE. I have a similar pair that winner can have if wanted, ot in as good of shapebut useable. Rear seat is out of a 60's pontiac and looks and fits in there great!

Floor pans, ockers and most floor braces are rusty(I was planning on installing a complete one piece floor pan with braces and inner rockers). Driver's door glass is busted up a bit and not good. There is a replacement door glass for this that you can see in the pic of the back seat. Each quarter glass has a minor crack of some sort.

15X10 Aluminum slots with used Mickey Thompson Sportsman's on the rear, nd new chrome reverse with usedradials on the front. *. *

One picshows an odd hole on the top of the left quarter panel next to the decklid seam, itha metalpatch riveted over it. The next pic is a section I cut from a donor car for that area. The shock mount area was cut out of the inner trunk floor at one point in time, nd a steel bar was welded across that the shocks aremounted to. One of the pics shows aninnertrunk floor section with solid, riginal shock mounts that was cut from a donor car, hat can bewelded back in. Both front fenders had replacement eyebrows riveted in place many years ago, s pic shows, oo.

****AGAIN, WILL PULL THE DRIVETRAIN AND EXHAUST AND SELL IT AS A ROLLER****

Clear title in my name, ut it isbonded as previous owner could not locate the original title. Matching door tag is still intact. Thisis a GREAT PROJECT that has a ton of potential. It needs work yet, ut will be well worth it! Please ask all questions before bidding.I will post most Q & A for all to see.
